Networking software maker Novell said Wednesday that it will make NetWare 6.5 available to customers on Aug. 15. The upgrade introduces changes aimed at simplifying administration and network access for corporate users. It also includes a Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application server that is designed to make it easier for companies to integrate NetWare software and management tools with other Java-based business applications.
