Zoho Meeting is the latest addition to the Zoho Office Suite. It will enter public beta on Tuesday. With Zoho Meeting, you can have an online demo or conference with your team. Choose to use ActiveX, Java or Flash for viewing purposes. The basics of web conferencing are all available for Zoho Meeting, including remote access for other members of the team. The new release is well integrated with the other offerings of the Zoho Suite, the most important integration probably being Zoho Show, which operates much like Microsoft PowerPoint. An added perk is the ability to embed the meeting, which can go anywhere that accepts flash code. This application is currently only available for Windows, and may require you to instal a Firefox plug-in or download a zip file if the auto install doesn’t kick in. ***

Salesforce.com is integrating its customer management applications with Microsoft Office Live Meeting, the real-time Web-conferencing software. With the integration, Salesforce.com's customers will have one-click access to Microsoft's Web-conferencing software to keep in touch with customers and partners, the company said Tuesday. The integration with Live Meeting is possible through Sforce, Salesforce.com's user interface platform. The San Francisco-based software maker has 13,900 customers and nearly 227,000 subscribers. ***

Net giant Yahoo today launched a program to tap the growing market for customized business portals. As previously reported, Yahoo was expected to formally unveil the service today--and reveal several corporate partners that will use it--after outlining plans for the offering in a private meeting with Wall Street analysts last month. ***
